A very tidy 900ie that is just up the road for me, clutch issue though?
I reckon that’s a quick fix on that clutch. From his description I bet the pressure plate wasn’t put on in the correct position and thus the springs couldn’t be tightened down enough and now the plates don’t engage. 🤔
Injection the same as my 900ie except that one is a Nuda, naked and less of a pain in the fucking ass to just top up the oil(y).
I thought he said in the ad the carbs could do with being balanced.

Agree, an easy fix i would say but your right it is the carb model my head is all over the place at the moment even to the point of confusing the fuck out of myself:ROFLMAO:(y)

Seriously FFS are they now fetching this sort of dosh!!
Mental when you think that the Fugli, Monster & SS are all available with the same engine and for between 10-20% of that. Nicer bikes too IMO.
I cant imagine anyone would be so stupid as to pay that sort of money for a Paul Smart would they ?

Original version perhaps, but the 21st century Paul Smart and Mike Hailwood reps are no more than Ford ST's compared to GT40, IMHO

Monster s4r but only 687 miles, £7,000 start price and that's not even the reserve

Your thoghts please?

The thing of concern for me would be that he doesn't mention recommissioning the bike since it's 853 conversion 8 years ago so questions would need to be asked for peace of mind if nothing else. The graffiti on the fairing lowers is more likely a wrap but will be easy to remove.

That said, I think it's overpriced and a far better 748/853 conversion that has been recently checked/serviced and gone through completely, would be Nelly's 748/853

Nelly's is the one, unfortunately my generous offer may have to be slightly reduced due to other investments 🤔😁
