Early Xmas pressie !

I was, hopefully the Multi will be fairly chilled, I love getting together with everyone and want to meet up with peeps and have fun, I was riding the 749, although safely, fast. I have seen the aftermath of 2 many accidents and buried a few of my mates - blame Gizmo, he made me do it !

New or second hand... It won't matter you will still love it.....10 months on I still tuck mine in before I go to bed, there's hardly enough room for the missus.......:D :D :D

And here she is..........

Touring screen and termis already on.... has it got the gel seat fitted? It'll still be comfier than your 749 but the comfort seat will come into it's own if you tour on it..........as I am sure you have already been told....

You know more than me, so it has a touring screen, cool ! I never had an issue with comfort on the 749, so if its comfier I will fall asleep !

Just like to say, many thanks to Janey, Charlie and Derek for pulling the deal together, from initial phonecall, to credit card details - approx 10 mins !

Well done guys, many thanks I am a happy boy and will be on as many rideouts as possible - aim for 10,000 miles on the multi next year + racing !

Sorry to say it but road riding is road riding no matter what you're on. It won't make you any safer than anyone else. However it will be great to see you out and about again, getting with the guys and enjoying the rideouts. We missed you.

I know what you are saying Pete, it is and I can't be much more careful than I already am, feck it, i'm on the road again !

Great stuff Ian and a far better road bike for the kind of roads you'll mainly be doing.

You'll be out with Me, Claire, Michael and......... Martin! next year then :D

Thats a fair point pete, but i disagree. if your on a super the temptation is ALOT stronger than if you were on a laid back bike.

Don't quite agree Pete as on a multi and on my KTM you're head is probably 2 feet higher maybe more which means you can suddenly see over the roof of the car in front, over that stone wall, vanishing points are further in the distance.

On a completely opposite example whilst driving Lily's Lotus it's so low you sit lower than a stone wall, your eye line is at the same height as car number plates, you daren't risk overtakes even on roads you know.

Well done I'm sure you will enjoy it. I was never a fan of the multi's looks but as a useable bike it always made sense. Secondhand they make huge sense. Only one small query.......unless there is a problem with the colour on my screen, the multi would appear to be silver. Now you know what's coming!!.....if that is the case how come you voted RED in davie's poll for the only colour for a Ducati??? Was that before or after Santa brought you a new bike?.......I demand a recount in the poll!!:D

Multi Dseered

Have to Agree with John- the upright position makes you go even dafter than you would on a sports bike - I followed them up to Oban and they werent hanging about - and Martin went past me on his Multi at the pre DSC like I was parked up.
Enjoy it though - up for the north of Scotchland next year ?

Well, last night Gizmo and I talked about Multi's, today I thought. this aft I looked at 'our' dealers pages, and then bought !

If I could have had red one I would !

I have not even seen the bike I have bought !

Ian, also you need to speak to "Desmo King" he's a multi mechanical whizz apparently and has an extensive spares stock, including possibly all bodywork in silver just in case...

He's a legend... or is that Leg-end in Nelson :p
