E10 Fuel

E10, just a thought. One of the biggest problems mentioned is leaving the ethanyl fuel in your tank for a long time, plastic tanks and rubber /plastic pipes.

What's the feeling on the e10 in our plastic green jerry cans given some also use it for petrol that isn't used regularly such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, chain saws etc?

Never use that shite in chainsaw’s, trimmers etc. Always use the expensive fuel and empty them if not using over winter.

So E5 has now had an octane booster put in to make it 97RON ?

What’s in our Synergy Supreme+ 99 premium petrol

Our Synergy Supreme+ 99 petrol has more cleaning power than our regular petrol – and includes molecules whose job it is to reduce the friction in your engine helping the moving parts work more efficiently.*
Although our pumps have E5 labels on them, our Synergy Supreme+ 99 is actually ethanol free (except, due to technical supply reasons, in Devon, Cornwall, North Wales, North England and Scotland). Legislation requires us to place these E5 labels on pumps that dispense unleaded petrol with ‘up to 5% ethanol’, including those that contain no ethanol, which is why we display them on our Synergy Supreme+ 99 pumps.
There’s currently no requirement for renewable fuel, like ethanol, to be present in super unleaded petrol although this could change in the future, in which case we would comply with any new legislation.

New Shell V-Power unleaded is a 99RON octane fuel. By comparison, regular Shell unleaded is 95RON.3 days ago
Yes but, no but, yes but, no but. Those are referring to the original super unleaded variants from those companies. They both always had regular unleaded which was E5 and what about all the other suppliers out there?

I’ve forgotten what my original question was now🤔.

Oh, yeah, E10 sucks and Boris can shove it up his arse and how his girlfriend can shag that fat twat with his twatty hair style is beyond me

🤣🤣

There were 2 types of E5 fuel, standard and premium - now the standard fuel is E10 and the Premiums have not changed as far as I can see 👀
And it's OK taking the piss out of Boris but you shouldn't bring fellow forum members into ridicule when they have such thin skin

Hmmm, that was a tough decision between rating it funny or useful, funny won👍

No, Aircon I wasn’t referring to you.
