DVT front brake vibration

No grease, please, they’re way too close to the disk face for there to be grease there, especially as the rotational forces will pull the grease out, away from the centre and across the surface of the disks 😮
 
So the first try was with the orange raw plug and self tapper worked a treat, ok if you have a seized bobbin you will need the nut and bolt method to start it off, the second with the long black plastic and self tapper is work in progress when the resin goes hard.

I looked everywhere in my garage through all my bits and bobs and there are a lot there but could not find anything suitable, but next week I am going to a mates place who is a farmer and he has heaps of stuff in his workshop i might have to “borrow”.
 
I was thinking more of one bolt that will go through the bobbin, put a well nut on right the way to the bolt head. pass the bolt through the bobbin, attach second well nut then tighten. This should see the bobbin griped on either side by the rubber well nuts and giving the ability to turn them using the bolt head

Guys, have ordered some more bungs (10) will make up a batch, still can't find my own one, need to search my brothers garage!

Just use a 6mm screw cap(allen key) with a std nut and a battery driver with bit. It will tighten finger tight and start spinning the bobbin easily. Spray with contact cleaner of some sort or wd40. Note, if you use wd40, you will need to clean it ALL off again. I did my discs twice before replacing them with serie oro at about 45,000km
 
Out for a gentle ride today and front brakes are awesome, so much better than before, literally no pulsing at all, my rear brake has always been good but many say it’s rubbish, plus my heated grips were to hot on max so had to put them on medium, others reckon there also rubbish.

I like this bike again.

And if one of those rubber bungs becomes available I will buy one.
