try piricambi10 on ebay . he was very helpful. part came from Italy to north Scotland in 6 days, his parts seem quite reasonable and no p/p. type in ducati multistrada 1200 fuel gauge and you will find him.
 
Hi thanks for the help with were to get parts from emailed my list to moto rapid today so waiting on them getting back to me. Prices and what they have in stock. I watched some one else’s video on them putting the fuel pump back in The tank and they used seal all to aid in sealing the tank. I was wondering is this a good idea, has anyone used it to help seal tank as well as using the o-ring thought ? Going to buy some new work benches for garage anyone know where best place to buy. On the subject of the bike wheeled her out yesterday she is looking a bit dirty as been stored pretty much for two years so plenty of cleaning to do will do some bore and after pics. And progress pics once parts start arriving. battery charger arrived to day to replace old one which had given up the ghost but no battery arrived yet.
 
+1 for moto rapido, ordered stuff from them last week and excellent delivery. I got a 10% discount for being a member of UKMOC, not sure if DUN forum membership qualifies as well?
 
I have had the pump out several times and only used the o-ring, no extra sealant. Red rubber grease helps to get the o-ring in, as it sometimes wants to bulge out of the flange at one place. Use the mounting bolts to pull the flange down evenly and watch that the o-ring is not sliced on the lip of the tank. A wooden chopstick or similar can be used to gently push the o-ring back around the groove to remove the bulge.

If I was home in St Andrews I would give you a hand but that’s not likely any time soon.

Thanks for the offer of help if only the world was normal the o-ring arrived today so will have ago tomorrow at fitting it and got a price list from moto rapido so get that sort next couple of days anyone know the beat place to buy a overhaul kit for the front callipers looking to strip them down they are pretty dirty and look abit sad might even get them powder coated start taking some pics after bikes back up and running got a spare engine that needs new cases so that’s the next project after although that maybe a while away one thing at a time.
 
So battery arrived and went have a look at the bike but sad news as when the bike was sat in old shed there was a leak in the roof and I thought the bike was ok but on closer inspection water has got through the throttle bodies in to the vertical head and there’s is surface rust on one of the valve stems �� so looks like the fine will have to come out and take the head off to strip down Will need to get some more work benches in the garage first and set up lighting in there so I can work on bike in the evenings was thinking of doing a battery and power converter to run lights off any recommendations on the set off this. Loads of jobs to be done before then engine comes out probably leave the engine till last so not such a quick fix as I had thought. Hopefully get some time on bike in next couple of days fingers crossed ��
 
I don't know much about 12V dc to 240V ac inverters but can highly recommend LED panels. I took out 6 fluorescent tubes from my garage that used 58W each and replaced them with three 1.2m x 300mm LED panels that only use 25W each. They are fantastic. Much more light with less shadows but using 80% less power which would be great for any battery powered system. Alternative could be to source 12v LED lighting but you could struggling to find lamps to light the whole garage adequately.
