Ducati with a marving race exhaust fitted

Hi to all,

Just looking for opinions on the Marving exhaust i had fitted to my 999.
I had an option between the termis or the Marving.
After hearing the Marving race system i opt for that as the sound is superb, and which came highly polished. The bike had a powercomander 3 fitted and was Dinojeted. Now goes like a rocket. Needed a bit of adjustment though. The professional team at ducati Leeds sorted the exhaust adjustment the Dinojet as well as the fuel ajustments to meet the race exhaust spec, as the bike was getting its two year service.Got To add Ducati Leed`s was fantastic in every way I would recommend them to anyone.I will be buying my next bike from them, they really looked after me and still are.
Hope You all like the exhaust.

To veiw the pics go to my pics in the public photo Gallary..Jono

Its not my cup of tea to be honest, I think the Termis looks just right. Never heard of that system, where did you find it ?

I like the look of the Zard aswell !

deseered,

got the system from casoli, was a b@*/^%d to fit,it looks great in real life.I nearly got the termis but i liked the sound of the Marving better, plus it was half the price. There again, with the power commander 3 and the dynojet could of worked out the same.

Aye the Termi was a bastid to fit aswell, I called in re-enforcements in the form of Gizmo and DavieRavie, well Davie smoked and drank tea !

Please don't think I'm dissing it, I'm not, after all my white wheels arn't everyones cup of tea either !

No mate,i know the system is`nt eveyones cup of tea.Still trying to convince myself.it`s the sound that made me tip towards the marving and the shine just differant. But to be honest it does look good in the flesh so to speak..

Well I will maybe see it next year at some point, if you are in Hull get yourself down to the DD round at Cadders, not sure when it is though, umm must look at the dates !

More importantly - look out for RTL '07 !

nice to hear the marving is working for you, never really seen 1 in the flesh personally, how does it differ in sound to the Termi's ?

Hi Ian I beleive that the marving system is 106db and the termis are
102db.Cant really explane the sound but definatly differant, maybe more of a roar. But be warned they are not a very good fit, infact there a s^@t fit. Ducati Leeds took it to an exhaust specialist to ajust the down pipe because it was obstructing the oil filter, and i think the sump plug. But once fitted properly my opinion is ,great.Like above not everyones cup of tea but its mine I love the sound. Jono

Oulton is sound meter on exhaust, I think but could be wrong 1 meter at about 45 degrees from pipe end, all this year she has wanted me to wind it out to 5500

Freak and Lily gave me some advice before the first TD there though ;)

There was a rotary Norton there when I took the DD bike, 112 at tickover !

Thanks everyone for your comments,I`m away at the mo,and server is going down.I won`t be able to post any replies for a while.Stay safe for 2007,and Merry Christmas and a happy new year to every one ..Jono :xmas_emot:

Heres a link on many differant 999 - 749 exhausts, the Marving also is on this site. http://www.kaistra.de/ducati/teile/auspuff.html
