Ducati Sport 1973 bevel engine

1973 Ducati Sport, 1231 original miles. I bought this bike in 1977 with 700 miles, i'm able to document purchase. Bike operates perfectly.

The only modifications are :

I had the fibreglass bodywork re-gel coated about 6 years ago ..... colour matched and applied by a guy who restores watercraft, he did a flawless job.

Also i applied vinyl transfers.

The exhaust gland nuts have been safety wired ... that should have been done by the factory.

Also i replaced the tires a few years after i bought it in 1977, they remain on the bike. Other than that the bike is all original.

The spares include

• a set of bodywork minus the tank which have also been re- gelcoated,
• a new pair of Conti mufflers,
• a NOS pair of 32 mm carbs,
• a new pair of fork tubes,
• several sets of points and condensers,
• an assortment of valve adjusting shims, and
• some various other parts ... id have to do a inventory of them but those are the main spares.

I also have the original tires in good shape and a NOS set of the original water transfer decals.

I last rode the bike in 2022. It has always been stored indoors and regularly kicked over several times a year. All the electronics ... coils ,spark plug wires are original as are the fuel lines. I also have the original tool kit and owners manual.
