...great sales strategy Martin - appeal to the 'beast' in me!!!! :D ;)

She has promised to drape herself over my bike if I come down there, in order that I can live out one of my fantasies :eek: :eek: ;)

KTMs if I'm not mistaken - I'll wait till you're all tucked up in bed and go out to the garage and take them out into our paddock for a good seeing to!!! ;)

Does this mean that Lily isn't riding on Friday either? She seemed keen at the beginning of the thread
 
No that's correct Ed, it's a good 5 hour trip to Knockhill for us, so we'd be in the van with 2 bikes and lots of gear, but then we'd have to drive home afterwards another 5 hours to unload then turn road and back to Kendal to collect new bikes on Saturday..

We have now successfully booked the weather for tomorrow and we have got 20 degrees + sunshine for the entire night!!;)

I'll be taking it really easy. My 749R is now up for sale and I decided to freshen up the engine before selling it on. She's just been fully rebuilt and had new barrels & pistons in it so i'm running her in for a few miles.

As usual i'll take round all the novices for as long as they want. The more miles I can get done the better.

That's it, we're full with two reserve spots sitting in the wings!

Thats me just back from Knockhill. Safe and sound with no major incidents. I think with a better rider the Mutistrada would make a half decent track day tool, with me it wasn't quite a moving chicane but almost:o :o .

Martin thanks for taking me round the first few laps, but it would have been a lot easier having a brake light, nearly arse ended you a few times.

Davie, thanks for the leathers, the knee sliders are good as new, didn't want to damage them seen as you hadn't:D :D :D

Oh as it was a hot night I went commando ;) hope you don't mind:eek:
 
just got back from a FANTASTIC night on the track, big thanks go to Martin for organising it. :thumbs:

Had a good laugh with Eddie chasing him (project imole) my god can he fair carry corner speed on that imola ! fantastic bike :thumbs:

Apart from my run in with Les Blues on the M80 :D POINTS DONT MAKE PRIZES !

Cant wait till the next 1 now.

Jon & Claire & DCR i think i may take your advice now to track the 749. . .

it would be a sin not to use it on the track :eek:

What a night!!

Sun splitting the sky and perfect conditions.

We had a real mixture of novices and fast folk, all mixing together having a blast. Only one chap fell off and he was back on track in a matter of minutes, the only thing he was worried about was getting photos of his excursion into the kitty litter!!:)

It's a real shame we won't be doing any more this year but i'll get at least five booked for next year so we can do it all over again.:)

Thanks again to everyone for coming along to these this year, the effort is appreciated.

I have only just logged back on after a busy day away from bikes!

I to had a great evening, the bike ran like clockwork, the tyres were great, no 'close ones' the only thing was a warped disc which did cause quite a bit of vibration. got in at Midnight!

Thanks again to Martin (for coming past me on the S/F straight as if I was going backwards (that's no 749!!;) ) and for the organisation. Thanks to the beautiful Kerrie for lovingly looking after my watch again.

Imola will adorn the wall in the lounge very soon after cleaning off all that molten rubber (it seems to get everywhere!)

Had great fun with weeian on his 749 (minus rear end!) - he hangs off his bike in the bends like Jamie Whitham used to!

See you all next year there.
