Sunday 17th May. Meet at Thirsk Market square for a meet/ride. All Ducatisti welcome, UKMOC, DOCGB, DuN, or the merely curious. Probably heading towards the coast, Whitby, over the moors.

Meet up at Thirsk at around 10.00am and be ready to leave at 10.30am

If anyone wants to meet up at Squires around 9.15 am to set off up to Thirsk at 9.30am please let me know.

Regards,

Ray

Nice one Ray; I'm guessing the weather on the day might affect many bods decisions.

I could always follow along 30mins behind in our smart car - LOL !

Good luck mate, Frank

My life is conspiring against me ever taking part in a meet at the moment, I'm busy taking Linzi to Mankie airport that day :(

I'm not going anywhere near Whitby-Scarboro area. NY Police are barstewards. I might nip into Thirsk to say Hi though.

well my bike should be fully re-built by then (i hope so it goes to the TT on the 29th!!) so i should be coming along :lol2::lol2:

Adam

I'll be pedalling up again, well in to the race training now. And we will be in lycra and we will be holding up the traffic.......but we don't care.....:D

Ray.....

.....a few of the UKMOC crew will be missing  I guess due to the weather forecast......

Met Office Update
Sunday:
Windy with rain heavy at times moving north across most parts followed by brighter skies with some sunshine and blustery showers. Northern Scotland staying dry for much of the day.

I'll make my mind up in the morning:rolleyes:!

Mark

Mark,

Blue Skies at the moment but don't know how long it's gonna stay that way.

No probs will people who want to meet at Squires or Thirsk for a natter an/or bail on the ride if/when we get a downpour.

Ray

Dry trip until well on our way back. The roads were pretty quiet for a Sunday and no sign of the NYPD.
Even the sheep were nowhere to be seen on the moor roads:D

Ray.

I went to the British round of the World Trials Championship over in Cumbria to watch Dougie Lampkin do his stuff.

I went via Alston in the car and was very surprised at the utter lack of bikes on the road - even Hartside cafe was quiet.

Cheers Ray, good banter, and had a dry run back from Helmsley. :thanks3:
Poor show from the Dunners this year, no push irons either :p

Stuck behind an Ambulance from Helmsley, lights going, didnt know whether to pass or not, go bored and eventually did before
Chop Gate. Hope they werent serious cos it must have took an eternity to get to Boro.

Thanks again to Ray for putting the meeting together, just a shame more didn't turn up , i suppose the weather did put a few off. Still it was good to meet a few fellow Ducati owners .

The weather was @@@@ poor and anyway I do these roads all the time. Pedalling - decided to go off road instead, if it's going to rain may as well get muddy! :D:D:D

well done for organising it Ray, if anyone has photos upload them to the 2009 events gallery, if we get enough i'll move them to a Thirsk run section

Sorry i couldn't make it over anyway
