Donnington Tack Day 08/08/07

Turned up for a track day at Donnington yesterday (not expecting to know anyone) and just happened to bump into Freak, Lilly and Martin H who were all there for a blast (aka practise session?)
Nice to see a pit garage full of Italian exotica - bit sad when some of it got put in boxes to be taken home (one lovely 999R that had a bit of tumble !)
Any way I had a good day and only nearly fell off once or twice.
Nice seeing you guys and hope you do well at the week end.

Pete was great to see you and Abby, as I said yesterday if I/we'd of known you were coming down you could of broken the trip and stayed at ours th night before, 4 hours is a long old journey.

Sorry I seemed distracted for the best part just wanted to get everything sorted and ready for Sunday's race and sorry I didn't see you leave and say good-bye.

Glad you had a good day though only saw you out once or twice and next time go in inters!!!

There were a few fallers yesterday within our little group, one guy Griff had a big tumble and AndyB (DSC) on his 999R got caught up in the accident, Griff is in hospital unfortunately after his off, Andy's fine although his bike looks far worse than him

was nice to see you guys there and as Jon says sorry for being distracted it seemed that the day flew by and I was swapping between bikes and trying to get stuff sorted so hardly stopped to chat.
