Imagine the surprise, trailing through e.mails, deleting the spam (I have enough Viagra now, thanks :D ) and see one with NO subject, just DOTS... mmm DELETE, but wait, it's from Ducati Glasgow... opening up.... and behold, a letter from god - "How do you fancy running in your D16RR this weekend".

Freak, it gets more confusing, have only been told it SHOULD be here for the weekend... it's in the hands of the postman at the moment (or whoever delivers it) :D It's a team one, and Martin will be working until midnight on Friday getting it stickered up - he's good that way ;)

funny thing is that I was told a month ago mine was next yet two have been delivered now since then... Needless to say I'm not very happy!

Enjoy yours all the same though, maybe I'll get mine at some point this year

me and Scott are doing a desmo run on Sunday, Messrs Robins & Co Ltd wimped out with some limp excuse of an exotic weekend away - I think he meant erotic :D :D :D :D Come join the roar ??? I'm forgetting of course you're an Englander :D :D
 
It's going to be a few weeks before I can get up and savour the moment :( and then I've got to work for some slave driver while I'm there ;)

as the thread starter can I get it back on track please :D :D Don't know, you hijackers (can you say that these days). D16RR arrived on Thursday, I was deliberately kept in the dark, apparently I'm a pain in the @rse. I have to be honest, last time I felt like this I was 12, it was Christmas Eve, and a Raleigh Chopper was expected - we're all just big kids - it's just the "choppers" cost a lot more these days :eek: ooh a missus !! Anyway, finish at 3pm today (Friday), off to bug Martin ;)
 
All you fast types might like to know that QB Carbon are producing track bodywork for the D16RRs.:)
 
Ahhhhh - I thought you meant they had it available now.

That struck me as a bit strange as they are using my bodywork to create the moulds - and they've not got it yet.
