Drive to turn the UK into an AI superpower could leave us waterless

Instead of artificial intelligence it would be nice if someone could find a way to make us a superpower in the real thing. Though to achieve that I suspect a lot of euthanasia would be necessary.

Outrage as huge datacentre planned for tiny Scottish village

The proposed development in Auchtertool, Fife, will dwarf the village and its 200 or so houses and cover an area larger than 100 football pitches.
