dash to the thrash

I was thinking about that the other day. There's not one pencilled in but then why not ?. Nice crisp November day, run up to Anstruther for fish and chips at the harbour, then up to the strip show ........(in more ways than one, remembering last year, with sightings of the Lithuanian tit, for the ornithologists among us).

I'll maybe go up for the fish'n'chips but the MaxPower outing?????? Forget it!

Robbery. Dick Turpin doesn't get a look in. To have to pay for that event:eek:

Is that the one where you had (cough) ladies scantily clothed draped over your bike?
If so better be aware entry price increases as temperature drops!;) :)

Maybe Gordon will "bump" into her when he's on his course? ;)

Well, then. How about.....

Meet at Powmill (near Knockerhill circuit) , say, for 10 then ride over to the Fife Riviera at Anstruther harbour for fish & chips. Afterwards wildlife lovers who want to go and watch tits, badgers and other migrant species from the Baltic countries (maybe even some quarter-mile drag racing too) can nip along to the Thrash and the rest can continue on a route around Fife's finest back lanes. Scott - how about setting a route for us on your patch ?.

now that's starting to sound a bit more interesting...... especially as the Milk Bar at Powmill does some mean bacon butties, huuuuge meringues and fab cakes :D (coffee can be a hit or miss though - best have a hot choccy ;) )

Right. That's you down on the list, Lynne. We could even start AND finish there (Powmill cafe) , with Scotland's finest fish & chips in between !.

umm the £10 entry for 30 mins is a bit steep, id proberly rather have a ride aboot

The entry fee is for all day if you like, and not just 30 mins. Last year we spent an hour or so there but there'll be an alternative run after lunch instead of the Thrash for those who want to tour a bit. Maybe even over the "Ducati Highway" aka the A916. Why, if there's an A996 we'll ride that too....;)

true but
only having made it once it was dark for an hour when i set off and for aboout 2 going home and we only managed about an hour at the track

not enough hours in the day :(

Hi Ian,
I was speaking to Graham Bell about your fairing strut repair. He says you had another off - is this correct? Do you still need your fairing strut welded ?
