just picked up the latest Bike mag in Tesco this pm. Sorry if you've all had the chat somewhere else on the forum, i just dialled in after a month offline. the cover is desmo with a first road test. what do you all think? i like the sound of the motor on the websites. nothing really sounds like it on the road up to now. i ordered one in dec 06 as a 999R owner, so i don't know when mine is due, but whenever it comes, i'll post my own road test. no doubt we'll have a full update by then from a few members ( at the very least scotch). anyhow, it sounds like the dogs bollox.
i went for a blast early this am on the 1098S, conditions were awesome. a real bonus to be riding at all let alone salt free at this time of year in scotland. fingers vrossed for tomorrow am. dollar to braemar in one hour....what do you think? i won't get back without refuelling. hope there's a gas station open at 8am sunday.
i did a 1200km round trip from Frankfurt to Austria on my BMW R1200GS in the week. also a great bit late year biking.
