Cumbrian Rumble !!!!

Some of you may not know of the above event, it is a DOC event but all are welcome, it is the first week end in August in Cartmell, accomadation is in the village and the Saturday evening do is at the Cavendish, rooms are full at the Cavendish but there are other places available literally seconds walk. We had nearly 40 bikes in the car park, sorry bike park last year. I am there in a couple of weeks to sort out eening entertainment which will be a flat cost, Iam hopefully getting some money from the club to subsidise it a bit. I will hopefully get a t-shirt done again all included in the cost. PM me for number to arrange accomadation.
 
I added it to the main upnorth pages a while ago Martyn and it should be on the calendar here, people can subscribe to show they'll attend.

i'd think i'll head down on either Saturday or Sunday if I'm at home

No problem, as with all things in this bloody country a lot depends on the weather, if the forecast is good I am sure the day will be good, I am also trying to get something organised for if it is not !! There is a racecourse in Cartmell and if they would tarmac it I am sure the weekend would be complete, I even enquired about a temporary surface !!!
 
If you need a band for it let me know, lodgers band is up and running and they are now gigging, or PM MartinH as he has a band aswell !

Let me know when you start sourcing your t/shirts and I will put you in touch with a guy I know !
