Graham is getting faster with his larger pressure vessel this year….. his 1/4 mile time is largely coasting as he runs out of steam 👀

This is not the worlds fastest motorcycle, it is a rocket on wheels. Motorcycles put power down thru the tires and this rocket uses thrust to propel it forward. IT would take off if you pointed the nose skyward at takeoff/launch. There is no limit from traction and since the thrust is directed straight out the back, there is no torque trying to lift the front end off the ground.

Took my 748 over there in 2009. Thought id get a better appreciation of how the racers ride at such speeds around there. Wrong!!!!.I done several laps of the circuit and came away with no idea of how it is possible to lap as fast as they do. Ok, im no racer nor a nut case but have been known to go a Lil hard out now and then. At one point I was going over the mountain, coming up to creg NY baa, tapped out, so probably 140 ish. There are signs saying " use your mirrors".
Fuck that, at those speeds I wasnt worried about what was behind me , just looking where i was gunna be soon. . Anyhu I come up to a laft hander, im hanging off ( kinda) and thinking no one has ever taken this corner this fast ever . Next thing a bike passes me, round the outside, like im standing still, pretty much on the gravel between tarmac and certain death and fucks off into the distance before I could even clock the color of the bike...
i still have no idea as to how anyone can ride that fast around there.

Back in 1991 I had just bought a brand new 900ss. A good friend of mine was into racing and he persuaded me to have a go in the novice class at Cadwell.
We all followed the instructors around for a couple of laps and then off we went. After a few laps I`d sort of got the hang of it ( I hadn`t) and was convinced I was a track day god in the making ( I wasn`t) and there I was, throttle pinned wide open, bike leaning over at an impossible angle only to be easily overtaken on the outside by a bloke on a CX500 of all things.
I know my place now and am happy pottering along looking the bunnies in the fields .
