My biggest issue with the boat isn't money it's the 2 days either way that is fucked.. It's 30 hours so depending on the time boarding you loose up to 4 days of the trip... Bike gets shipped both ways for 750 euro and a Ryanair special lands you in bilbao for 100 euro and 10 minute walk to your bike luggage helmet and clothes absolutely no time lostYou say that but a friend has just gone for 2 weeks, left on Wednesday. He bought his ticket just 2 weeks ago, only €170 return, Rosslare to Bilbao. It seemed very cheap to me compared to when I looked previously but maybe it’s a last minute thing to fill the boat.
I forgot to mention you can go in and out of different bases and the last time we done all northern Spain then bouncing off the coast back into the stunning interior and so we didn't have to try do a loop back to bilbao we got out through Malaga and left the bikes at that airport so no back trackingMy biggest issue with the boat isn't money it's the 2 days either way that is fucked.. I'm not eligible yet
not for another 3 years anyway and my wife has been given clear instructions... If I happen to ever mention taking up golf I should be euthanased and the same with a cruise just fucking end me there and then

Yesterday I made my way to Claughton (just north of Lancaster Dox called by for an evening meal (dinner, supper, lunch High tea whatever).
Today with the advantage of Dox’s local knowledge I took the Devil’s bridge road before re- joining the M6 then peeled off for look at Hadrians wall, then rejoined the M6 then peeled off to Dumfries for coffee, stopped again at Dundrennan Abbey, again at a chocolate factory I discovered whilst bumbling though Galloway national park arriving at my selubrious hotel before Dox and RA5 had left Lancaster.
We’ll eat together when they arrive

We’re heading north east today 
Up early, so far it's been great fun. I'm somewhat at a loss for words. Beautiful countryside and fun roads.
We made it back from dinner last night to the b&b with barely, if any, light left.
Slept well after giving Lady K an AAR of the day.
