ok here we are, ive waited three weeks and this is what i got.

A few simple but important questions.....

slightly different vibration sounds at around 5000 rpm?(nice and raspy though.)
hard to engage neutral at a stop (ive read this here,kinda seems normal)


To keep the bike original for 1993.

should the mirrors be red with black edges?
what colour should the engine and fairing bolts be silver or black? (anodised pinky/red...wtf)
Fairing washers Black or natural?
oil cooler should be silver?
should it have so many plastic ties on the frame?

finally wht wont my wife have it in the house?

i look forward to your comments, advice, etc...

Cant answer the technical questions but I cant think of any reason that you are not allowed to keep the bike in the house, possibly a bit of jealousy on your wifes part there!! :whistle:
 
I had a later gold framed SS and the fairing fasteners on that were silver,the oil cooler was also silver, my mirrors were black, however the earlier white framed models may have been different.
Mine only had a few cable ties but you can reroute some of the wiring to make them less obvious.
