I was just puzzling over something.

I have an app on my phone for my home heating system. The app always suggests to me that I should pay a premium for the "Plus" version of the app which will unlock ways for me to lower my costs and "cut my carbon".

So, if there's a carbon-based climate crisis, why aren't the carbon-cutting measures offered for free?

It's damned strange 🤔
 
Apparently, the scientists and researchers that have told us the gulf stream that causes El Niño is about to give us the hottest temperatures ever, didn't talk to the scientists and researchers who have declared that the gulf stream is about to collapse. Dem crazy kids 🤭

We are paying for a yearly service plan but have struggled to get Fischer to send an engineer to us :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:


So they wrote to a consumer advice person who said...

Strange all those items using nothing but electricity and he’s promised an endless supply of cheap green energy
Why the need to restrict their use , I just can’t work it out 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣
 
I'm starting to wonder if @AirCon is WEF ?

If scientists keep telling us the planets normal cycle is actually man made climate change, won't that see an increase in houses with Air Conditioning being fitted, which I believe increases emissions and then man made climate change :unsure:

My last house was a 400 year old thatched cottage, painted white and with tiny windows. In hot weather as long as I kept the curtains and windows shut the house would stay very cool . Coming home in hot weather felt like walking into a fridge, lovely if like me being too hot makes you uncomfortable and irritable.

I actually think the new houses being built now will breed sickness ... completely airtight with no fresh air and in my opinion stuffy and stupid warm it reminds me of being stuck in an airplane 🤔

Prior to moving into that thatched house we lived in a new house and my daughter had mild eczema. It cleared up totally within a month of moving in to the draughty old cottage with wooden floors and no carpets downstairs.

Plenty warm enough as it had central heating and 2 fireplaces. There were draughts that could have been greatly reduced but as with what @The skitz is saying a house without any is unhealthy.
I bought it in 1987, had it rethatched with Norfolk Reed in 1995 and when I sold it in 2015 the thatch was largely perfect but the ridge was showing some wear so I had that repaired . I would guess that would need doing again by 2035 and then the whole thing another 10 years later.
