I am so fed up with earthquakes from climate change. It could spill my pint one of these days and the anxiety from living with that thought is making me ill.Actually, the UK experiences quite a lot of earthquakes. Most are so small that they go unnoticed but we have had them up to 6.5.
And guess what - as we are a long way from Atlantic plate boundary, they are most likely caused by climate change. But not the pretend man-made variety. The British Isles are still bouncing back from the compression caused by the weight of the ice sheets during the last glacial period. When the ice melted around 10,000 years ago the northern half of the land mass which had been pressed into the earth's crust by the weight began to rise out as that weight was released, and that process is still going on. The fells of the North Pennines and the mountains of Scotland are actually getting higher while London and the south east is sinking into the sea (which is nice) and it has nothing to do with rising sea levels or not enough people voting Labour or driving nasty Chinese battery cars. Though the sheer numbers of people from the third world now living in the south east probably isn't helping.
In fact,@Barry Hell lives in about the least quake-prone part of the UK, which is Aberdeenshire, along with Northern Ireland and Berwickshire.
If you want to check the run-out on your KTM's warped brake discs and need a stable surface for your DTI gauge, Barry's house is probably the best place to do it.

That's what happens when you do the Haka every five minutes. If you would all just learn to stand still perhaps this earthquake nuisance would cease.NZ gets 50-80 Earthquakes a day, or about 20,000 a year. Our biggest being an 8.2 on the 23rd of Jan 1855.
I'm sure some plutoccrat somewhere is working on it as we speak and agents of the regime will be round at your house shortly to forcibly inject you with it. Be patient. The regime has your back.I am so fed up with earthquakes from climate change. It could spill my pint one of these days and the anxiety from living with that thought is making me ill.
Is there an earthquake vaccine I could possibly get?
I suggest you start a cult like action group titled something like 'just stop earthquakes' and throw boiling oil over fresh water sources to gain attentionI am so fed up with earthquakes from climate change. I've not been able to breathe since hearing that earlier in the week
"Showerheads are very popular self-pleasure aids for people with clits, with 22.9% saying they use its steady stream of water to masturbate."
A bit verbose.... they mean "women".
This must be incorrect, church told me the earth is just 8,000ish years old and the compression you speak of must have been from the flood with Noah and his tardis like boat holding billions of animalsActually, the UK experiences quite a lot of earthquakes. The indoctrination of the people by the church, still alive and well I seeThis must be incorrect, church told me the earth is just 8,000ish years old and the compression you speak of must have been from the flood with Noah and his tardis like boat holding billions of animals
Not entirely. Ancient peoples obviously observed that much of the world had once been under water in the pre-glacial period and sought to explaine the phenomenom through mythology in an age before science. The indoctrination of the people by the church, still alive and well I see![]()

.....or still blame it on Man Made Global Warming, yes, yes lets do that
Scientists worry about the immense smouldering fire beneath Antarctica
Beneath the vast white continent, several kilometres below, numerous active volcanoes, such as Mount Erebus, could accelerate the melting of the ice sheet. Let's delve a little deeper into this immense smouldering fire.
While the ice sheet is currently being disrupted by climate change, leading to an acceleration of glacier melting, subglacial volcanoes could erupt.
That`s right and the more we pay the faster it stops. But if we pay more taxes, it'll stop right? Right?
That`s right and the more we pay the faster it stops.
No, but a fraction of the money donated may find its way to someone that knows someone with cancer or a heart condition.. you got a problem with that?Ok good.
But it'll never stop. A bit like donating money to Cancer Research...or the British Heart Foundation won't find the causes or cures. That's ok then.
Climate change is the perfect scam vehicle for tax collection and population coercion. Moving away from Global warming was the stroke of genius as now every single change to anything to do with the climate can be attributed to the evil that is Climate Change.Ok good.

Totally, Yorkshire air ambulance, who contributed to saving my life, Macmillan who looked after the old dear, and the local hospices are the ones I supportYes - give it to a local cancer or heart charity, or a hospice, where it will do a lot more good for the people that need it.
I have a problem with those two charities coercing people into giving them their money under the guise that they're trying to find an end to it. Same with Diabetes UK. These charities have long track records of failure in what they claim to be doing.
You all really need to get the pitchforks and torches outThe sun...like co2...absolutely essential for all life

Net Zero Plan to Blot Out Sun Using £50 Million of Taxpayer Money Set to Be Approved – The Daily Sceptic

When most people are dying - hungry, cold and in the dark - I wonder whether they'd ask themselves, "Should we have done something?" or will they continue to meekly accept their fate, just as they've always done? You all really need to get the pitchforks and torches out

I know this is only a scare story, meant to elicit a feeling of fear & helplessness in the general population but the mere suggestion of such a thing, real or imaginary, ought really to unleash rivers of blood. Climate scientists and politicians alike should be living their lives in hiding and in mortal terror but nothing of the sort will happen.
From this passive lack of response to a terrifying proposal will come the confidence that the ruling elite can do any damned thing they like and no one will say shit. They might or might not actually go through with a plan to hasten the next ice age - I doubt it - but the ruling elite know that whatever their real lethal, genocidal plans are ... no one cares. They'll be left to get on with it.
What a time to be alive!
