Well the dead is done.:eek: Took the 848 to DG today & after 3 cups of lovely coffee & the offer of a sticky bun, I left DG a few thousand pounds lighter & the owner of a Troy Bayliss 1098R Ltd edition.:D:D:D:D.
Again a pleasure to do business with Blair,Kerrie,Tracy & Martin.
I always come out of DG with my wallet empty, but always with a cheesy grin on.
Will be back down soon to pick the Bayliss up & drop off the 848.
BOY AM I A HAPPY CAMPER :D:D.
Could someone phone Mrs Chizbo & tell her I have spent the childrens inheritance?

Its the dogs Bollocks. This is a KEEPER I think. Will sit nicely with the 900SL. Should be out of hospital in 2 weeks time after the fractures I am going to sustain from Mrs C heel.:D:D:D
Actually pleased as punch as my 848 was costing me £191/month & this is only £269/month.
I have a car HP finishing in April so will not miss the money dropping out of my account.
Away to see about insuring it, but it has a alarm & tracker on it, so that wil help:eek::eek: I HOPE.:rolleyes:
 
Cracking bike Chiz! Can't wait to see/hear it in anger (of course, like most on here, I have seen it a few times already in DG - drool).

I hope that another 848 on the market isn't going to depress the pricing:rolleyes:

Need to get the insurance sorted. Canny get quotes on line. Will phone Ducati & H&R on Monday.
Did get a quote of £9800 but thats a wee bit steep.:eek:;)

I am busy next week, but may manage to get it. Told DG it would be March 26th but realised I'm on hols then Ha! Ha!

Need to switch my pers plate from the 848 to the SL. Want to keep that plate :D
 
If you ask the nice people at RBS for a bit more you could get one of these hideous machines!

Slabs arrive tomorrow so that I can lay an area for the new Secure-a-bike garage.:eek:
That arrives on MARCH the 24th, so I will be at DG's door at dawn on Frid the 25th to pick up the Bayliss. Whoop Whoop Whoop.:D:D
It will be sad to see the 848 go, but its been 3 years of fun with it & now a lifetime with the Bayliss.
:flash::flash:The 848 will be a great bike for someone. Carboned up & plenty of shiney shiney on it.:flash::flash:
