250 GTO's were going for £10 million 15 years ago, inflation and punters with cash are of an age that remember 1985. I don't expect them to get cheaper any decade soonSounds cheap for a 288 GTO![]()

Yes, but I'm not really surprised based on older Ferrari's - I expect 288 GTO's to keep going up for a long time yet, our generation lusted after them and F40's so they may become the new 250 GTOThat was a record price![]()
Tvr’s are super cool I don’t know names or models but some of them are lovely and have got a no care attitude love em.I had 2 in a row from the mid 80`s to the early 90s. First a 2.8 litre coupe with a Ford engine and then a 350 convertible with the Rover V8. That second one was magnificent to drive, it was so light that the 200bhp the engine produced was plenty and it was really communicative too. As long as the sun shone of course. It leaked badly, had non existent heating, the headlamps and windows would get stuck up or down etc etc. I still think the 350 convertible is a beautiful car and I occasionally look at 2nd hand ones .
