BSB Knockhill this weekend

Spent a few hours at Knockhill yesterday. Great atmosphere, great action, especially considering it was only qualifying. I am now fully kitted out with Airwaves replica clothing. Some excellent "offs" at Real Radio Hairpin and at Clarkes (nearly as good as my own). Superbikes were doing 48 second laps which I find hard to believe. It didn't even rain until 3pm! No doubt it will be raining all day today.

Anyhow, all that's just background to the main event which was me wandering past the Ducati UK truck and seeing Capriosi's 2006 GP bike being wheeled out the back. For me, definately a "I think i've just come" moment. What a fab bike! Do you reckon the Desmosedici RR will come close? Pity I missed Nial McKenzie demonstrating the bike later that evening (unless the rain stopped him?). I got so excited, I went to find Martin from DG and bought his 1098S ex demonstrator there and then. Roll on next weekend when I pick it up.

Maybe see some of you guys up there later today. The DG truck and marquee/awning looks great. Kerrie was working hard scrubbing the floor when I saw her. Martin was standing around with a can of Go Fast supervising:beer: .
