For Paddy, I spotted these lovely Lav's at Whiteways Café on the South Downs at Bury Hill. The SFC was immaculate and was owned by the guy sloping off in a grey hoodie in the background.

I went out the previous Sunday with a Friend who has an Aprilia RSV4 RF, I reckoned there was nothing I couldn't do as he'd be able to keep up anyway; So I wrung it's neck.

When we stopped at Midhurst he said he couldn't see the point in owning the RSV if I could get my 35 year old bike to do that :).

Now it's working properly, it is a blast and it's a bit of a shame the riding year will come to a close for me as soon as they salt the roads. Hey Ho.
 
Nice bikes. Was it a genuine SFC? I think they made 200 and now there's only 300 left!
Owning a 996 gave me a prolapsed disc and cured me of any desire to buy anything with clip ons are rearsets again. This is a better riding position for my old bones.

Yeah. Kind of ugly, aren't they? He should have chipped up the extra £1500 and bought my SF. Mind you, one of the guys who goes to the Oxfordshire Laverda meeting has picked up a Ducati 750GT for £3,000! The chap wanted it to go to someone who'd appreciate it apparently. Engine was rebuilt by Steve Wynne but never put back in the bike. that's the story anyway.
