I have received the following request that might be of interest:
"I am organising Ted Simon's book tour in Scotland. I'm sure many bikers will remember his first book, now a classic, Jupiter's Travels when, at 42, he decided to travel around the world by motorcycle.
This was the book that inspired Ewan McGregor & Charlie Boorman to do their journey (Long Way Round). Ted has just published Dreaming of Jupiter, the follow up, after repeating the journey at the age of 70 and the book is an inspiration to young and old alike.
Ted will be giving an illustrated talk (Beer & Leathers Night) at Waterstones,
153-157 Sauchiehall Street,
Glasgow at 6.30pm on Thursday, 8 March.
Tickets available from Waterstones - tel:0141 302 7816.
Would really appreciate if this info could be distributed to your members and all interested parties."
Cheers - Frank
