I would say you are talking 4 to 4 1/2 hours to get up the road, and that would be keeping it simple and no playing on the back roads. Possible to do on a friday after work and the come back down on the sunday. Do the fly boys play at the weekends or just during the week?? I would love to do this run but I don't have the time off to have a motorbike madi gras on a school day

Yes that's right our 'chaps' don't work at weekends - too many complaints from the residents around Tain (not including me I might add).

Not sure how you want to play this as it would have to be during the week. We've got operation 'Neptune Warrior' taking place up here (off Cape Wrath) in June aswell. This entails all three services (Army, Navy & Airforces) of NATO countries using live ordnance off the cape. It also means that there will be alot of activity above the house; we had this sort of thing going on in February.....
