Blue Badge

Got it but will not know how useful until I check out the signs where I want to use it. It seems that on private car parks, it is down to the signs put up by the landowner. I can park of yellow lines for 3 hours but I have not any real desire to! It should mean that I can park among all the other disabled at Sainsburys, but will stand no chance of winning the race to the sandwiches instore. Some of the other badge holders are fecking fast walkers - well runners!!!

Technically, I could use it on a motorbike as it is not linked to a specific reg number. I can't see any real point and there is nowhere safe to leave it, so it would be open to nicking. Also, the places where I want it for are WWT at Slimbridge, Sainsburys, and the railway station, where I always drive to and never motorbike to. The only possible place here I might use it to park on a yellow line in Frampton-on-Severn, I suppose, itf the car park is full.

Are you able to walk unaided?

Also, I've now worked out the gig at the Sainsbury supermarket car park. The people who park in the disabled bays and then sprint pass me to get the pick of the sandwiches are not disabled. The badges are not linked to reg numbers and they either "borrow" somebodies, or are a carer, who either leaves the disabled person in the car, or just goes to the shops without bothering to shackle themselves with anyone disabled. They run as they are really not supposed to leave the disabled person on their own. Plus, they don't want the git p1ssing themselves in their car!

I like to clear things up for people, so that you all understand!

I could not find any disabled places in the Waitrose car park. I did ask and was told that they don't want any riffraff here!

I got my blue badge for when out with my son in his car, came well in handy. (y)
That is why they are not linked to a reg number, but a person. I do not know for a fact if the scheme is abused, but I like to speculate, and have my laughs!

I don't think that the scheme is wildly understood, and the reasons you state are why it does not make sense to link the badge with a number plate. I'm sure that Waitrose do have disabled spaces that I didn't notice, so that is me speculating again. I bought so much food that I won't be there for a long while, but although I am not very familiar with the place, I think that I have an idea where the places will be -at the far end of the car park, near the skate park. No, No, No, shut the fcuk up! I think that they are just the other side of the entrance that I used!

Not all disabilities are visible
That is the thing. And I understand it to be a problem that people with a non-visible disability suffer from when they park in a disabled space.

Apparently, passer-byes confront them and start arguing the toss with them. Although I like to take the piss here, I would never ever verbally confront somebody who has the badge, but does not "look" disabled to me, as it is none of my business, but, apparently, you do get balding middle-aged know-it-alls who do hassle people with blue badges. If I was to ever see that, I would feel quite entitled to floor the know-it-all cnut giving a disabled person hassle!!!

A result of abuse of the system I guess

However mobility is directly linked to the privilege of having a blue badge issued.
It is the main criteria, " ability to walk unaided."
Not claiming any expertise here, but I don't think that is just about walking unaided. I think that there are other factors considered.

My comment still stands.
Please read the words as written.

Too busy testing Apple and Netgear shit
Given up with that shit for the day. There is an intrinsic problem with Chromebook and any Google shit. To set this motherf up, I need to login as admin, with 'password' for the password. To Google, this is impossible as you can only connect to summit using your Google id, that is surprise, surprise, not admin/password. My Windows stuff wants to find it at http://192.168.0.100/ and can't.
Fook knows what I will do with it, apart from chuck it!

I've been doing an account switch since then, moving to Farce Direct from NatWest. I have a phone number to ring to complain, but when I did, they said I was in a queue and would wait for at least 40 minutes. I don't get why suits, who must know about this, think that it is in any way acceptable?

Then I tried to switch to Lloyds, where I have already got any account and they are just as useless, telling me to go to the mobile app on my phone, so I do and then they sign you out and waste a bit more time before saying, you need to be in your mobile app, so you go back, sign in again, and the whole application process is forgotten.

Surely, surely, Shirley, they test this shit. If they do, they should tell in thirty seconds that they have fecked up and so need to change things, but they just can't be arsed.

I did the ID process with First Direct, fully expecting it to fail, but I eventually passed - I think. Why do they make it so hard? All they need is a photo of you passport and you. Just allow the applicant to do it and email or text it, but no, you have to use their lousy process.

perhaps this world isn't for you?

Bro, you are only allowed to think that, not say it.
Say what the f**k you like, as I couldn't care less!

What I have to do is stay positive. All this shit is just minor irritation as, really, I shouldn't be here! And if you think that's a bit lucky, then still having two legs knocks luck out of the park! Apparently, when I was still well out of it, I was nil-by-mouth for twenty four hours in preparation to have my left leg amputated. On the morning the docs changed their minds. That is as close as you can get to being a monopod. I dread to think of all the shit that would of put me through. I had to learn to walk again, for a second time, as I forgot after my horse riding accident about thirteen years ago, but at least I had two legs to learn on!
