I've just added a few photos from today to the photo gallery, I'm sure I won't be alone in wanting to thank Martin, Kerrie, Harry Martin's mum and all who helped make it a great day. It was nice to put names to faces although if Fergie gets through all that ice cooler he'll not remember seeing me, great location to watch the racing, under cover!! ( how glad was i of that :)) and Martin's mum did a top job of the food, you couldn't ask for more. I think there were some bikes going around a track but i spent most of my time chatting so couldn't tell you what happened :D

thanks again Mart, we'll be back next year

ps did anyone save me a piece of birthday cake?

Just got in after a rather wet journey back. Plugged my camera in and it is on with downloading 600+ photos, I may be some time !

What a great day out, thanks to all at DG for there hard work and fantastic organisation, Claire's first time at a bike race and she really enjoyed it !

Many thanks to all !

Yes, a great day despite the Caledonian Monsoon. Well done to Martin and his team from Ducati Glasgow for keeping us all well fed and watered - and nice and dry - during the day. Great as ever to meet up with fellow DUNners, some for the first time.

right first of all I am a typical Scotsman when it comes to spondooleys but after the Monsoon yesterday at Knockhill I am definately going for hospitality next year!!!!

I was wetter than a wet sponge after washing a small family car!!!!!

LOL

Glad you all stayed dry unlike me.

My ticket came through the post today!!!! - Not a happy bunny. :( I guess we were affected more up here by the Friday Strike! Sorry I missed it!

Yes many thanks for all the hard work , Shame about the weather but at least they managed to run both BSB races .

I didn't go to knockhill, but I would like to say a MASSIVE thanks to Ian, Martin and Drew for even answering the phone when I rang Ian not knowing he was at Knockhill.
I was watching the race live from comfort of Kintail Lodge bar with a few pints of the black stout and someone pointed out my tyre was ever so slightly over enthusiastically worn.
I had a balding tyre and needed to source replacement on my way back from Skye and Ian passed me to martin (?) who then got Ian to text a phone number he got off of Drew for Ride On Tyres in Glasgow.

Top marks guys, pint on me.

It was Drew you spoke to, we were in Martin's hospitality, DG shut on a Monday, hence Drew got the number I txted you, glad you got sorted fella, see you Friday / Saturday ? Dseered hospitality tent !

I must say the pics in the gallery are ace and the hospitality looked superb but the most important question I have is...was the cake sponge, chocolate or fruit as it looks god damn goooooooooooooood :lol2: :p
