Bevel twin frame tube spec...?

Hi all,

I am making an Imola 750 replica from the basis of a 1977 Darmah.
Well into the project but as the rear seat sub frame is "dropped" I have had to cut and gently (with heat) bend the frame. I had to cut the frame tubes which go down from the rear shock mount to the swing arm pivot.

My question is what exact specification/type of steel was originally used.?

Its 22mm OD with a wall thickness of 2.8mm and there is an internal seam.

Thanks.

Sounds like a run of the mill tubing has been used for the manufacture of the frame, CDS ( cold drawn seamless) would be fine for what you need.
