Between XMas and New year meet up?

Would anyone be interested in organising a meet between Christmas and New Year?? Maybe somewhere easy for most of us all to get to, grab lunch, a bit of craic then head home? Weather dependant but it could be somewhere with decent rail connections so those wanting to drink could do so?

I will probably be snowed in by then so I suggest snow-chains on yer Ducs or nobblies.....
 
Not made any plans for either Xmas/NY so weather permitting sounds like a plan, better cover the KTM in Scottoiler now then :D
 
We've made no plans for the holidays this year either - weather dependant, I'll try and attend!
 
yep - sounds like a good plan so count me in - so long as it's not Friday 28th. Anywhere considered as most places have travel lodge type thingies closeby if we miss the last train :D
 
Just found out my works closing for 2 weeks over crimble :mad: 2 @@@@ing weeks trapped inside with xmas tv or sales :comp2: ;)

which means i will defo be up for gettin out :)
 
May plan a guest appearance, just depends on what date/ day and where? Will keep looking at the post...

ok folks how about Sunday 30th ? but we've got a couple of options, a cafe meet, a pub/hotel for lunch or maybe an Italian restaurant for lunch....

venue Gretna, Carlisle or Penrith close to M6 junction, gimme an idea of what you want to do and we'll find a suitable venue......
 
Lunch sounds good, will aim to be there one way or another, think I am heading for Croft on the 29th for a Rally to do some snapping, will see !
 
I'm a maybe for this. Will be down in Central Belt at some stage but have to be back by Sunday night at latest. Could be an excuse to go look/buy a bike I suppose........or pick up a prize for furthest travelled maybe.:)
 
Will have a think about this over the next few days and confirm it in this post on Thursday, looks a really great place but with the travelling etc it wipes out a day and have become quite busy over Xmas and New Year with differents friends doing diff. stuff..

I'll have to come over to the mainland on Sat evening as the first ferry on Sunday is 11.05
