we just got back from trafford centre, i'm writing code whilst migrating her old imac onto the new one.

you may notice the quick links/todays post page will now auto refresh after 120 seconds, think I've got it right, only downer might be new posts does the same and keeps refreshing thinking you've seen posts 120 seconds ago.

20 inch G5 imac with the wireless keyboard and mouse, its nicer than me G4 dual processor tower and got a bigger screen i think :(

waiting for data to transfer to fire it up, another 1 hr 45 minutes........
 
Get on 20 inch, only have 17 myself, bet its veeeerrrrryyyyy sexy though, so is this L's new Mac, or Mikey's new toy ?

both, i use it when I'm downstairs but prefer the peace and quiet up here when I'm working.

looks good and with a 20 inch monitor might be easier for dreamweaver and photoshop, she wouldn't let me buy the 30 for up here :)

As it's replacing my old iMac, which is now being re-homed in the garage, technically it's mine :D
 
I went into the new apple store in meadowhall in sheff and saw the G5 with a 30" display on. I was almost making homer type "hmmmm" noises.

I want a new powerbook now after seeing the higher resolution displays on the 17" model.

Sounds like me on Monday in the Trafford centre :)

17's too big to carry though, next PB might be a 12 as i've already got a 15 PB and 20 inch Apple display at work and i find the 15 too big heavy to lug around.

problem is now that the 20's better than my G4 Dual tower with a 17 inch display, aaghh. Anyone want to buy a nice well specc'ed mac?? :D

Perfect, a powerbook for home use :) Mines the old 1 ghz model and its a bit slow now, think I'll be nicking the G5 imac for photoshop and dreamweaver :)
 
You may have to 'weave' some magic on mine Mikey, I think its dying, you may have to sign dseered's 'official secrets act' before taking control though !
