When in maint mode, the datatool3 alarms beep(annoyingly) every 15 secs,... how many of us muffle this wretched din with a towel stuffed around it and the seat dropped back down!!

I remember going into Cusworths showroom when I got the 900SS serviced (before I had discovered Ducati John) and the room was full of beeping bikes!The salesman told me that he didn't notice them after a while.

i worked at a place where we took either a faser or a bandit in for a trade in and it had a ridiculously loud alarm. it really used to @@@@ off the boss when it went off and he`d come running out the office doing his nut. unfortunatly for him he was an obnoxious little prick, so it got bumped into quite a lot
