I think a few days notice isn't a bad idea for the runs..... gives people a chance to get the excuses ready for unsympathetic wifes/girlfiends/significant others/etc.... ;)

The event has been posted on the calendar for ages, Paul, I'm not sure how much impact the route details would have on the feeble wee souls that need excuses! :p

There's a wee SDC board meet tonight, I'm sure DB will have everything planned and it's just a case of publishing the details If not I'll have the blowtorch and pliers with me.

...not that I'm one for taking the tortuous route :rolleyes: but I was thinking along the lines of (weather permitting) Tyndrum-Connell-Ballachullish-Corran ferry-Strontian-Arisaig. Return to Spean Bridge-Laggan and back down the Sma' Glen.

If the weather's looking awfy iffy we can modify that nearer the time.

Not sure if I can make this one but covered this route last Friday with some changes. Glasgow- Inverary-Lochgoilhead-Oban-Connel-Fort William-Mallaig (7miles from Mallaig - took the alternative coastal route) -Mallaig-Arisaig-Strontian-Corran Ferry-Glencoe-Tyndrum-Tarbet-Glasgow. Highly recommended and only 350miles. Was aiming for 500 miles so was a bit @@@@ed off.

So main meet is the cafe in Tyndrum on LHS from south at 12.00.

Anyone heading out of Glasgow give me a shout for a meet at DG 10.00.

Weather looks like it might be more or less ok....:rolleyes:

Next best thing after a Ducati is another Italian bike, so we're all pasta as opposed to rice at least...;)

Weather is not looking that great. I was looking for a Plan B but it looks to be raining everywhere according to the forecast. Let's see tomorrow evening what everyone wants to do ?.

Will Wait & see. My Ducati goes out in the rain so no problem with that. As long as it is not Hurricane Ethel.
Showers no problem, but monsoooooooon a no go!!!!:mad::mad:
 
Looks like we'll get at least half the day dry..good enough for me:lol2:

Weather lookin better here too !! . What way you coming up Cisco ?? could meet u at Tarbet at about 10.45 if your coming the Loch Lomond way.
