Another Paint Thread

You'll be getting sick of me asking questions about paint shops...last one I promise ;)

I want to paint the 900's tank and cowl in the design of the new S4RS - white, with a central red stripe(s).

So...not just a simple re-spray, and unfortunately not really the kind of stuff Brooklands (the guys doing the frame) are in to.

Any of you have recommendations for a job like this?

Eonan , Stuart at Jacksons did my bike at the start of last season and I was happy with it anyway , certainly no complaints other than the time it took however I did leave it rather late and with the track season looming he was busy , busy , busy.
Worth the wait tho and fairly easy to get to.

Yeh Stuart's good isn't he, I've had stuff done by him before and been really impressed...but, as you say time can be a problem. He's got a set of belt covers of mine that I've been waiting 3 months for now :(

I'm up for sending the tank and cowl anywhere in the UK...don't care how much it costs, I just want a brilliant job done!

Might be worth giving the Ducati stores a call and find out where they'd send a damaged S4RS tank to be re-sprayed?

They must be shut for Christmas, but going by their web site they look like just the guys we're needing  Thanks mate :D

For what it's worth a lot of the guys around here rate Bike Paints for any special work being done and given the distance involved that must say something. (Was it not them that did Hizzy's Monstermob paint job for Paul Bird outfit?)

What is it about painters and time management? We have one down here, does a lot of custom scooter murals, etc and he is brilliant at it. But don't be in a hurry! I'll give you his number if you are interested.

i really only know about Jacksons & bike paints, both do good jobs.

1 thing i can say for stuart is once he made a mistake with my fairings & redone it without any hassle or extra charge.
