Hi

just treated myself and bought this guzzi vtwin, and will keep the 996 company , not sure about the rocket launcher end can though :) what you guys think thumbs up or thumbs down ? also put photos of the R1 in , although gotta sell this as 2's enuff and it aint italian.

Happy new bike :)

The Griso was a completely different bike for Moto Guzzi when it was launched - and I've always quite liked them.

You need a new number plate though - look like the ink's all run :D

I think he means he treated himself that's how a neighbour of ours says self too lol......
 
Nice bike. Always liked look of Griso, minus rocket launcher. Must be more eye pleasing aftermarket option

me too, does that mean there something wrong with me ?? :) , spent the last 2 days on this and can tell you it aint bad at all, not a pocket rocket but low torque and handles well, very comfortable too, as im getting on nowadays cant believe im likin a cruiser style bike

Cruiser style? What are you on man..... It's more of a cafe racer style....very cool:flash:

now you put it like that it is growin on me now, so looks like the 996 will be relegated to occasional use ( as it appreciating in value hopefully sometime soon ) and the griso my regular ride :eek: eerr forgot to mention i also got a 07 yamaha R1, but as im old duffer, it getting a bit too fast for me and i dont think that will be appreciating for at least 10 years.

I love the look of the Griso, and came pretty close to buying one second hand a year ago. It's odd but although the cylinder heads sticking out of a boxer engine look silly to me, the guzzi lump somehow looks great. The whole thing looks elegantly brutal, and I don't really have a problem with the look of the can. I think I'll still find myself buying one a few years down the line.

thats all i can remember guzzis looking like, used to love the le mans with those heads sticking out from the sides years ago.
