I`m sure you are well aware that going off topic on this forum is frowned on, prepare to be excommunicated.I did cut out potatoes as well but slowly started eating them again, though really only as roasties with my Sunday lunch. At first I roasted pumkin instead. Might go back to trying that. The trick is finding the right varieties that will crisp up in the skin instead of collapsing to mush. And they're seasonal of course.
I was thinking I've derailed the thread somewhat with my ailments, but then again given that all GP appointments will soon be AI and we'll be largely left to diagnose ourselves perhaps it is relevent.
Have you tried filling yourself up with soup while you`ve been ill ? It`s an easy way of getting plenty of goodness in alongside keeping your fluids topped up.
Meat soup for @Dox obvs, the rest of us can have vegetables in soup too.
