There is an ad policy that excludes commercial advertising in sigs, you can read the reasons why in a thread in membership use. It doesn't apply to clubs, if a club member is proud of their club they'll include it as some already do. It won't display images though. Remember if you use colour or links the user can select a different colour background depending upon theme and I noticed today that one sig didn't show on a white background.
