Guys,
The weekend after RTL a few mates and I will be spending a week travelling upto Scotland (I will post the itenerary soon). One of the places that I had booked accomodation in has been sold and is no longer operating as an hotel!
I'm looking for suggestions for an alternative and thought you guys might be able to recommend somewhere. The accomodation that I lost was in Brampton Cumbria. My planned route on the day that I need the accomodation totals some 200 miles (coming from Pitlochry down the A701 to Moffat, backup the A708 to Selkirk and then down the A7) and the route planned for the day after is some 155 miles (heading into the Lakes before heading back east to Leyburn).
The ideal location would be one that balances the mileage on the days either side that I need the accommodation. Ideally looking for good quality accommodation with good food (and ale) available inhouse or locally!
Any suggestions?
Cheers
