916 side stand non return plate

Morning all,

Apologies it's been a while, work unfortunately gets in the way of fun things. Does anyone have a link to a non return plate for a 916 (and a 900ss and superlite) side stand? I got one a few years ago on ebay for my 748 and they don't trade anymore. Google search is not bringing anything up so I thought I would ask the hive mind (I should have done first to be honest).

Any help would be most appreciated

Effectively turning the suicide stand into an over centre stand. The down side comes when you forget to put the stand up and there are no electronics to save you.

i think it just holds it down under tension when in the down position - Ducati don't have any left so buy one quick. Second hand people are asking £60 on eBay.

For the 916 stand, the easiest way, and cheapest was to use the plate and locking nut off the later 996/998 that employed a switch. From memory they cost less than a tenner. Not sure if they’re still available from Ducati. I may still have some though?
I can check both on Monday when I’m back at work though

I've had to nip into work today and so had a look. Not sure on cost until tomorrow, but I do have a plate and nut that will sort the 916 sidestand out.

I don't know of anything off hand tbh. I used to have my own plates cut, but that was way back in the day but eBay killed that little enterprise off. I couldn't compete on costs.
