Roughly 3 weeks on from my last post and I`m delighted to say that the treatment seems to have been a success and the wound has healed to the extent that the collar has been taken off. She sometimes walks keeping the injured foot up but the % of time she is using it is increasing and the amount she limps is reducing. She has already surprised us by running upstairs at speed and jumping over furniture. We plan to keep her in for a few more days so the muscle can build up as the injury was incurred 7 weeks ago and she has used that leg very little since. We still don`t know how the injury occurred so we`ll be worrying about her when she`s out for a while but I know she`s desperate to get out.
It cost us an arm & a leg but luckily it only cost Annie half a foot so all in all a good result.
Thanks again to everyone on here for their positive comments , it certainly was a boost particularly for the first few days when we were worried if she would survive.

Probably pissed up, out all night...shit happens.

Glad she's recovered so well - you're good people 👍
 
Nearly 5 months on from the injury Annie now walks with a very slight limp and even this totally disappears when she goes faster and she seems as quick as pre accident when she wants.
Here she is showing Lola how well her foot has healed.
