What ever your opinions are on 9/11, the simple fact is that 2,977 victims died and thousands more were injured.

The impact on the American psyche was immense and it's for that reason they hold a rememberance day every 9/11 and this year is the 25th anniversary.

I know we have American members and so hope their day of rememberance is a peacefull day for those who were affected
 
Add to the 2977 the millions of other victims - deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq (including c. 8000 allied soldiers) which were only made possible by 9/11 happening.

One of the major stumbling blocks some people have over 9/11, is thinking that people wouldn't be so evil to perpetrate such a thing on their own people. But these are the same people who send their own into wars; it's just collateral damage to them. They can justify it to themselves in a heartbeat and won't ever lose a wink of sleep over it.
