Anyone wearing custom moulded earplugs?

How comfortable are they?
Easy cleaned etc.. ?

Any idea where I can get a couple of sets made in Scotland?

TIA

Can you speak up...?

Scott,

I've had custom lug plugs for a few years now and think they're great. I used to struggle with standard foam ones, which often fell out or just weren't effective enough.

I got mine done at Donington by www.ultimateear.com - a strange sensation as they fill your ears with the stuff and you sit still while it hardens - and I dare say there are others too. It cost about £40, so not cheap but if you value your hearing it's not so bad.

I find mine very effective, comfortable to wear and easy to clean (with soap and water).

I got some made by ultimate ear at the NEC. I got tiny speakers installed with a jack plug fitting. They can be used on the bike and plug into my talking radar detector (snooper S4), with my MP3 player and on plane journeys, costly at about £100 or so but do multiple jobs.

Been using the foam plugs for years guys, but lately my ears have started ringing when I have the plugs in and they do eventually itch me :dunno:

Hopefully, since these are constructed from different material, I'll solve these issues

They said when they were doing the lugs from Aberuthven, they only had to fill one ear and the goo ran straight out the other side :dunno:
