Ok folks, we didn't get too much response to the DUN organised track day so we said we would just book one and invite everyone to join us..

so we have booked Friday 1st June at Oulton Park

I know it's fairly short notice, unfortunately for us the diary has now had to be shuffled to fit around racing so this is the best date for us.

There are limited places remaining do if you are interested in coming then you probably want to book asap, this can be done online at www.focusedevents.co.uk or by calling 0870 2646268 price is £159 (standard for sumemr at Oulton) and sadly no discount with focused.

Focused tend to like you to have experience of the track or they will put you in novice so unless you want to get stuck in novice it's worth telling them you have been to oulton a few times and done lots of track days.

And then the good bit...

If anyone is coming down we can sort out a few beverages and a barbie for the friday evening at our place. Non riders also welcome. We have reasonably limited beds, but plenty of floor space and camping space :)
 
OK folks another option

we have also booked the day before the DD round at Oulton which is Friday 6th of July

This is organised by Motorcycle Folly if anyne fancies attending then making a few days of it and watching the DD race on the Saturday followed by a BBQ and drink on the Saturday night.

As this is the day before a race this one will book up quickly as well so get booking if you fancy coming :D
 
Stevie baby - that lil 749 knows its way around Oulton so you only have to operate the starter button and coax it to the assembly area - it knows the rest and will feel just like the dream you had - its already been pre-programmed into it !

After speaking with Jon I am pleased to announce that the band Johnny Rooster are now confirmed to play on the Saturday evening. It will be the bands first time playing through their new 20kw pa system.

yep likely to book up quickly for both dates, 1st one is very close and second one is day before a race so will book up in no time.

Ian tell Chico to get his finger out and get it sorted, you can tie it in with watching some DD and having some beers with us as well!!
 
we have actualy booked in fast group for this as motorcycle folly tend to be a more sedate group of riders when we have done their days in the past.

As long as you maintain a line there is nothing wrong with being in the fast group, indeed if you want to push it a bit harder and overtake in corners etc I would strongly suggest it.
 
Im at Oulton in June and for some reason thought it was the 6th. Turns out Im booked on 1st June with a few mates from the Rocket Centre. See you all there
