It was pretty horrifying to watch. The way it looks in this picture, he is fortunate to only have a fractured C7 in his neck. I hope he heals up well. It has been great seeing him come into his own and I hope he's able to continue.
It was the first time seeing Acosta with a shooken and humbled facial expression in the pits. That incident totally undermined the rest of his race. I think he will have learned a lot about himself after that.
The whole race was one gasp after another. Super glad Digi won after all despite his hand injuries.

He also broke his right collarbone, not surprised, he landed on his right side so no surprise. As comfy pointed out it doesn't look like his airbag didn't deploy?
