And, yesterday was Paestum, more ruins.
Went into town to buy some bits and bobs. While in town i swung by a mates place to borrow his 13hp 4k psi petrol jet wash. He didnt tell me untill i got there that it needed fixing! It was only a bung missing off the pump but other than that, it starts first pull and runs fine...
After an hour a visiting 3 different stores, i had the bung. $20.
Goi it home, unloaded it, topped up with gas, conneted the hose and gave it a pull.
Pull cord snapped.. just by the handle
Took the housing off it, re-ran the cord, tied a knot in it and put housing back on , gave it a pull and the cord snapped..
3 times it happened. its not seized as i had pulled it through slowly prior to giving it the beens. More that its ten years or so old and the cord has obviously deterioratied.
That and its a 390cc single pot honda and has quite a bit of compression.
Now i have to fuck about sorting that befor i can use the fucken thing.
I rang him to give him shit and he said fix it up and keep it! So i will!!! A new one with this spec is a 3.5 grand machine...

I had my 1st ever game of Padel 
with a friend from work that retired at the same time as me a month ago.
I haven't swung a bat in 25 years, so took a little getting used to. Was a good afternoon and got a sweat on without feeling like I had overdone it. I was crap at it though, although got significantly better as the hour went on. We are going to try and get a game in a couple of times a month.

Turned out it was just a minor setback as I managed a bottle of Bourgogne after the incident
