Congratulations!
Left the house at 20.45 last night to catch a 3 hour flight to Manila at 00.20. Then sat waiting for a flight to Cagayan de Oro at 9.45. Arrived at the hotel around 12.45. No sleep yet... Felt a bit grim considering I was up at 5.00 yesterday morning. 
...and this is for work, not leisure...
Soon sorted with a bowl of Ramen and a beer or two...
Wednesday will see this repeated in reverse.

Near Whitehaven.
Busy week though so won’t get to see much.
Hopefully back this way in May for a couple of weeks, longer days then so maybe enjoy it more.
I bought my 1098 from Whitehaven.
I drove up from Nottingham to collect it, loaded it into the back of the van then drove to lake Coniston to walk the dog by the lake then drove home.
Think it was about a 9 hour round trip with stops.
Whitehaven is a dump!

Just finished reading the Iliad. Now on to odyssey
Not been here for a while....Random positive works carried out over the weekend.....
Saturday
1. Cleaned the Zed. (Bi Monthly clean) it gets used in all weathers for commuting so gets the most attention.
2. Serviced the SXV (second oil change) got this one right so didnt get a right leg covered in oil. All good there.
3. Made a start on getting the RSV4 ready for MOT. (nipped down to fowlers to get ripped off for oil) last time i buy it there.
4. On to more mundane things. A friend has a broken VAX cleaner which she dropped off - fixed that....30 odd years ago i used to actually do it for a job - (repair domestic appliances) - so fixed that.
5. Hoovered the house (4 floors so it takes a while)...hate doing that but, other half works odd hours so we split house work to maximize time we have together....
Apparently i keep getting told Ai will be doing all of the above....ill ask it again when it comes to putting the summer supercorsa's on the zed for the summer see if it can do that...

When my KTM needs a service I trailer it over to Triple D in Kendal. It's a nice drive over the Pennines and when I've dropped it off they let me leave the trailer in the and I spend the waiting time having a nice drive around the lakes. Zens me out before I have to pay the bill.
Just on the back of chatting in another thread about the global economy going to shit....any of you nerds out there (ram prices are skyrocketing at the moment) so if anyone needs a gaming box then this is a great alternative....built this a few weeks back, its an old ex 5 year old mining rig that sat in a rack of 12 in a data centre digging up Bitcoin...
All in cost about 500 quid ( 64gb of memory now costs close to a grand) and does 1080p gaming smooth. No windows licence - runs on linux all you need are your steam account details and off you go. As this is a hacked solution performance is being gained at a nice rate....from a software front everything is free (bar what games you pay for on steam)
Edit: just to add as it does run on linux theres a full featured desktop behind so you can use it like a normal pc...

Tomorrow it supposed to be our first day of 2026 with no rain.. it's made the news
Its not a pc....the core is an ASRock BS-250 mining rig...looks like a graphics card, but is in fact a standalone machine - you clip an NVME disk to it and its technically live...heres a tear down of how it all goes together...
The variation comes from the PSU that you use....theres lots of form factors...standard ATX, custom, ex server psu's - the psu's denote the type of case that you end up with...went with that one above as i already have one of those psu's - heres another one with a slightly different setup...and some video at the end showing the performance...the hardest part is flashing the custom bios which makes the graphics and os memory dynamically adjust itself - the key to making it all work...

You can go cheaper for the build as mines got a 2tb drive in it and has some blingy RGB..!
The OS is a custom Bazzite build - select the options on their site and then download the image, burn to a usb stick and install...reboots, comes back up, boots into the os and then automatically launches steam.
I know its not really the right place - anyone that wants to know more just PM me.
