I have a thought of going down the Moto Guzzi road with the Griso, @Dukesox pointed it out. The thing that put's me off is clutch change, it's like a car and it's an engine out job but thinking about it i like a challenge.

I don't know but i will look into it, i have never been a fan of injection and would rather have carbs. Saying that my 900ie never let me down and it was very reliable.Can it be converted to carbs?
If you do the 1100 is a torque monster and good for huge mileage. Be careful if you go for a 1200 as the early ones have a well documented camshaft problem so go for a later one or one that has been converted.
