Never got the yellow really.. didn't dislike it just no idea why you would purchase one over black or better again red ?

It depends on the car IMO.

Ferrari 355 in yellow is the ultimate...but a yellow Testarossa doesn't work for me.

I had a yellow 900ss and 749. Never had a problem with flies but the wasps really loved them and I`d often see them hovering around when the bikes were parked outside. Same insect hits as any other colour bike when being ridden.

I had been lusting for the 999 since it first came out but the hook was truly set when I happened across a beautiful yellow T9 in Sienna.

I was pragmatic and bought a red one but that yellow 999 still haunts my dreams (in a good way).

This was my yellow 900ssie. By far the best colour and absolutely beautiful IMO. I had it for about 8 years back when I didn`t have to sit down to put my socks on and was pretty much pain free. I still contemplate getting a yellow one every time I see one despite knowing it would be a painful experience.
