RZV500 is the better bike, having the ally frame. But the RD500 tends to be more coveted and have bigger price tags as it was the official UK (and Euro) model.

He's just out of York, never been but he's been to mine a few times.
Poppleton is the Blue Haze 2 Stroke gathering, not sure where Felix's gaff is as I've never asked but I think he's further out North of York.
