Ducati Insurance

I've just been on there site and the are representative of Adrian Flux Insurance. I used to be with them some years back, i think i will get a quote as my insurance runs out end of the month and that quote of £234 is the renewal price of the policy they have emailed me with, it gets paid automatically but i allways ring them before this anyway and i want to put the 996 back on the new policy.

I've used them in the past, got a million Ducati pucks that they gave the club somewhere

My seven bikes this year was 1338 euro Carole Nash 🤷‍♂️
I was just in the middle of getting a quote and my Internet has crashed, this happened a couple of weeks back, I've got connection but no Internet!! I'm doing this on my phone ffs!!

I'got Internet because I'm playing COD but that's hard wired so the WiFi has gone, it's always when you're doing something!

Right i have now got my laptop connected to my phone data, i have 100GB of data on that so shit loads, fucking hate doing shit on your phone!!

Right i've just had a quote from Ducati insurance (Adrian Flux) for the 900 and i didn't get an option of adding the 996 but they quoted me £120.96, that's more than half the price of Carole Nash(Ageas). I will give them a call tomorrow and what they quote me on both bikes, could get interesting.

On phone quotes are nearly always more expensive than Internet quotes... £25-80 more

The other thing with doing it on line you don't get an option for multibike, i will give them a call tomorrow and explain this to them. :)

CN now insure The Panzer, Bemoto couldn’t get anywhere near the price.
I plan to add 666 to the policy at renewal time.
I’ll be interested in your price for both your bikes.

Insure them separately and build no claims on both
I pay £78 for the s4r through a local firm 😁
I was going to go that way, BEMOTO are meant to be good but i will ring Ducati insurance tomorrow and find out what they can offer. (y) I will then give BEMOTO a call and see what they can offer.

Bemoto were good but not anymore.
I’d been with them for years, the last years renewal went up massively and they wouldn’t budge on the price.
Something has changed with the underwriter I believe.
666 is still with them till May, I then plan to put it on The Panzer’s policy.
To be honest, seeing as I have Stuart the Dog every day now it’s getting to the point of me questioning whether to keep the bikes or sell them.

If you have to make a decision going forward imo i would sell one bike and enjoy the other, mate you need to have a bike in your life, it keeps us all sane to a point!! :)

Sell the tank and keep the beast

My love of bikes is not as strong as it has been for 40 odd years for some reason.
Although, just before I bought the BMW I was not enjoying riding as I used to due to my back giving me jip.
I have had The Panzer for over 4 years now, a long time for me. Part of the buzz for me was the search/research for a new bike.
A change of bike may rekindle my enthusiasm, trouble is I’m not as flush as I used to be.
I would love a SFV4S or the SP before I hang my boots up though.
We’ll see what the future brings.

A mate of mine who has one of the GSX-R1000 RR top of the range jobbies has always said he'd never get a bike other than a sports-bike but he's just surprised everyone by test riding and px'ing his bike for one of them new Guzzies with the sticky out exhausts

As you know my body is a fucking messed up pile of shit, my lower back gives me shit in the mornings now after that Guinness broke my back. I have no feeling in my right leg and both elbows hurt like fuck sometimes after being plated and screwed back together but fuck me when riding that all goes away, i love riding and the only thing i have that i love more is my son!! I'm skint and have had to cut a lot of things i enjoy moneywise in my life but i want to get the 996 back on the road, well worth the sacrifice. The thought that you had of getting another bike sounds like a road to go down, as they say a change is as good as a rest!!(y)

Swift Cover for my street car (Insignia EcoFlex)... November 23 renewal £356, up £100 from the year before.
So I thought may as well have the £2000 that the Mayor is giving away, as the most I'd get is about £2500 with all the hassle of selling.
Anyway... that didn't happen, so asked for a renewal quote from the same insurer today... £770?!!!!

Used MoneysavingExpert... long story short.. £266 with Hastings Direct.

In my opinion the last four years fucked up a huge amount of the motorcycling scene a very social past time more or less disappeared in Ireland with a lot of lads selling bikes due to lack of use.. I'm hoping this year will see more return to normal 🙏
